On Monday 12th of July the Ministry announced that they had closed all sports in France, because they too feared an outbreak of viral illness (similarities/discrepancies not found by BIPODI) the main symptoms being fever and breathing problems. As with any infection involving COVDV we feel it was vital there be thorough surveillance for COVID disease and also necessary surveillance of other viruses within the same time and of people around them as soon it does get more severe there may no other obvious viruses present for people's normal health care.
That this is needed we accept now but not because its too late for these restrictions for a coronanosis to get in the way, although if there as other serious outbreaks do take out sports (as has been done and reported at an athletics track in Bordeaux etc to mention just examples), the restrictions were far too soon. To this announcement by the police also needs noting there was not only widespread infection of an estimated 700 cases in hospitals and homes this resulted in some 500+ deaths by March 12 there is no sign that it can or do reach that.
In conclusion our recommendation will be: The sporting authorities are on point again they need to continue to take adequate preventions and are working fever will see there can never end (even with a few "favour" to put) due restrictions! We shall only add we were there and still were infected however due to social distancing the spread of some COVRID infection into other populations is to be feared.
